Nigerian sensational vocalist, Tems unlocks her own version of “Ordinary People” which was originally performed by John Legend.
According to the singer, she was asked to do the cover by Apple Music and it’s her honor for her doing the iconic song from one of the world’s most revered singers.
Apple Music is marking the Black freedom day and calls it the Apple Juneteenth-inspired freedom songs which is a collection of covers and originals. And the global music streaming platform picked Tems for the cover of Ordinary People which resonated with her because of its simplicity and potency.
For her, freedom is important for every people and individual which is why when she learned of a special day put together to celebrate the freedom of Black people in the U.S, she was excited about it.
