Veteran music producer turned blogger, Samklef has made a bold claim regarding being the creator of the Afrobeats sound and one of the reason the genre has gone international.
Samklef took to his social page in the early hours of the 7th of March 2021 to lay claim to being the creator of Afrobeats and also stating he is one of the reasons the music genre has gone international. The music producer declared that he should be respected while he’s alive.

We believe Samklef shared this self acclaimed fact so people can respect and appreciate him now that he is alive and not when Dead. He wants to be celebrated while still breathing and be different from the dead veteran music producers who got people’s recognized and post after they were no more.
