Wizkid Wins ‘African Artiste Of The Year’ At Ghana Music Awards

Shortly after losing out on Grammy Awards, Wizkid has won the Best African Artiste of the Year at the 23rd Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards were established in 1999 by CharterHouse to celebrate Ghanaian musicians and the expansion of its associated industry.

The Nigerian music star, Wizkid was in the same category as his fellow Nigerian singers, Tems, Ckay, Joeboy, and Fireboy DML but none could beat Wizkid for the award.

In addition, the organizer took their official Twitter page to congratulate Wizkid on his new achievement. “Huge congratulations to @wizkidayo for winning the Best African Artiste of the Year at the 23rd VGMAs #VGMA23”.
