The body governing football in the world, FIFA have announced a new date for the Qatar 2022, World Cup qualifying game between Nigeria and Ghana.
CAF announced the news on Monday, February 21st, 2022, the game was scheduled to be played on the 24th and 27th of March in Ghana and Nigeria respectively.
The new date of the game will be on March 25th in Cape Town by 8:30 pm (WAT) while the second leg will be played at the Moshood Abiola Stadium on March 27th, 2022 by 6 pm ( WAT). Both teams had a bad outing at the just concluded African Cup of Nations which was hosted in Cameroon.
Ghana was knocked out of the group stage while the Super Eagles were knocked out in the Round of 16. Both teams will hope they get the better of each other for a spot at the World Cup later in the year in Qatar.
